SUSTAINABILITY IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

78 Corlett is the first office development in Africa to be awarded a 6 Star V1.1 Green Star Rating and a Net Zero Carbon accreditation.

78 Corlett aims to set a new standard for co-working office spaces with innovative additions such as electric car charging stations and full cyclist facilities. The design redefines how people live and work and prioritises sustainability and respect for the natural environment whilst ensuring low running costs.

The upper ground floor of the building will house a mixture of vibrant co-working spaces and cellular offices, interspersed with social and formal meeting spaces, all revolving around a central coffee bar. The first floor has additional co-working spaces and larger formal offices to cater to various tenants.

Eco-friendly design is at the heart of 78 Corlett, with passive solar shading, high-performance glazing, and HVAC. Water-wise sanitary fittings ensure mindful water usage and shading louvres harness the power of natural light with a full photovoltaic array generating electrical power.
